You walk into Bunbury Mercedes, you look around, you just know that Merc's are a special car. When you walk out of Bunbury Mercedes you feel like you're the special one. Some businesses know how to treat their clients. Bunbury Mercedes do it better than most. Their cars are awesome, but their service is an industry Bench Mark.

I purchased a Land Rover from this dealership. I inspected the car in the evening on the trip down from Perth. I expressed my concern for the overall condition of the car was not as I felt described once I saw it in the daylight. I was very pleased with the attitude of Ebony the saleswoman whom immediately had the car up to a fair standard with the minor maintenance required. This is good old fashion service that rarely exists in this day and age. I would definitely return if they had a suitable vehicle for me.

Buying a Mercedes Benz Sprinter from interstate is not an easy decision. This Mercedes Benz Dealership, gave me all the information I needed, to make the purchase from them, and easy choice. Very professional dealership, to deal with.

Now that we are due to replace our 350 GLD I think it’s worth letting Mercedes Benz know what my experience was owning a new car from Bunbury Mercedes. When I took delivery of this car the sales team seemed eager to assist and nothing was too hard. This was our first brand-new Mercedes Benz. After owning the car for about 3 months we noticed it was vibrating when on cruise control.MB Australia indicated there was a software update to fix this problem. We waited month after month to have the update patched into our car. After 12 months of “It will come soon” MB Australia admitted that they could not get ADR approval for the update and that there was nothing they could do.I asked why the dealer sold me a car that was defective with no chance of fixing it and they said it was MB Australia’s problem. MB Australia said my sale contract was with MB Bunbury and it was their problem.Given that the fault was intermittent, I had to put up with it and learned that if I changed from comfort to sport mode and back, it would often stop vibrating. MB Australia offered to compensate me by buying a new set of tires and or paying for my major service. They never followed through with this and I have had no compensation whatsoever for not getting what I paid for. After about 2 and half years the paint started flaking off the front bumper. I took it to MB Bunbury, and they said it was from stone chips and not warrantable. Despite being a few minor stone chips, the paint was coming off like sunburnt skin and flaking on the ground each time we washed it.We took the car to MB Bunbury’s preferred paint shop where they assessed it. They stated the car had been repaired and the bumper was repainted without a primer which was the cause of the flaking. Imagine my surprise when I discovered the car was less than brand new when I purchased it.MB Bunbury said they had no record of repairs and as such would not cover the repair of the car in terms of cost.We then went ahead with the repairs at our cost. The paint shop subsequently discovered that the bumper was not even original. It was taken from a black vehicle and panted over to match the white vehicle we had. Not only was it repaired, but it was also repaired with a second-hand part in a substandard manner and sold to me as a new vehicle. We get our car serviced at MB Bunbury; they have always been professional and courteous in that space. But it seems clear to me that when an issue arises that is clearly the responsibility of the dealer of the parent company, they are less than agreeable and fall short of the basic values of trust, reliability, and support.I would caution anyone buying a new vehicle from MB Bunbury or any MB dealer for that matter to have the car inspected first. I’m not sure what we will do for our next car, I do know if it’s another Merc I will proceed with extreme caution and I will probably not shop local as the local dealer did not look after me when I needed it.
